We have just returned from Villa Monte for a family birthday celebration. The villa was perfect for 11 adults, clean, spacious with all necessary utilities. The outside space was ideal and we had the pool heated, which was great for February. There was a bus stop within walking distance. Although we used Uber, which was really easy and cheap. The site contact, Carin, met us promptly and explained all necessary requirements Wilrik (the owner) was extremely helpful all through the booking process, answering all questions quickly and accurately, nothing was too much trouble. His restaurant recommendation was spot on for a special meal. I would highly recommend the villa. We had an amazing few days, making memories we will always remember. We could not have asked for any more.

We spent two lovely weeks with our children and grandchildren, totally 12 persons in the villa. The villa was perfect for us. Good bedrooms with separate bath rooms for all families (totally 4). More than enough space inside the villa. Outside area incl. the pool very nice and useful. Kitchen very functional and easy to use, incl. the drinking water supply. The elevator was helpful. Extra bonus was the very nice restaurant only 150 meters from the villa. During the stay we got fast and good response from the owner. All of us were really happy with the stay and the villa, perfect to gather the whole family and enjoy together, during days and evenings. The best judgement came maybe from our grandchild Emma, "this is the best hotel I ever been to..." ( and she has already been travelling a lot around the world).

From the day we arrived to the day we left the villa and host was brilliant. Wilrik looked after us so good. The villa was so clean and the views were superb. Heated pool was amazing. This is the best villa we have stayed in for many a year. Would recommend to anyone. Will definitely book again for our Spanish golf trips.

A group of 10 of us attended the villa for a long weekend toward the end of September. Wilrik wasn’t available to meet us but his colleague, Francisco, stepped in to welcome us and show us around. We were all delighted with the property and after stocking up on food and drink from the shopping centre, a short taxi ride away, we were quickly settled and took advantage of the fantastic pool and ample sunbeds. We had a couple of trips to Fuengirola by taxi and a walk down to the beach bars and restaurants at La Cala de Mijas. The walk is pleasant until you reach the main road which is a dual carriage way that you need to walk along. The beach is great though so it is worthwhile, although after a few drinks in the beach bars we did get a taxi back. The Frog & Co restaurant a few doors down from the villa had good food and was a nice option if we didn’t want to travel any further. The villa itself was a site to behold, dominating the road and offering good views out to sea. With ample room we never felt on top of each other although we did spend the majority of time around the pool which is a great size and depth, and heated should you need it, we didn’t as the weather was fantastic. Wilrik was there to see us off and ensure we’d had a good trip, very friendly and a nice touch. A 5 star and strongly recommended villa that I’m sure we will struggle to match next year, so we might well be back!
