Spanish Villa & Pool House, 6 Bedrooms, 5 Baths (Sleeps 12-15)in a privileged and private location with easy access to Malaga city and beaches as well as being an easy drive from the great cities of Andalucia and the ski stations of the Sierra Nevada.
Enjoy this beautiful private home situated in the hills above Malaga. The house sits in 91 secluded acres (37 hectares) of rolling hills with a terraced vegetable garden descending to the stream, a small vineyard and abundant olive, almond and carob groves. There are wonderful panoramic views to the eastern Montes and the Mediterranean Sea. The home dates from 1854 and was originally an olive mill and was built in traditional Andalucian style. The rooms have beamed ceilings and the floors are terracotta tiled . The original stones and press of the mill are still intact and are a spectacular integral part of the home.
The ground floor consists of four main rooms. The olive mill itself, which is a large airy room with a wood-burning stove, is often used as a room for entertaining . There is a large salon with a fireplace giving the room a very cozy feel. There is also a guest bedroom on the ground floor with 4/5 beds and an adjacent bathroom. The kitchen, which is fully equipped with all the modern conveniences, also has an open fireplace which makes for a wonderful place to enjoy dinner. There is a door off the kitchen that leads to the barbecue area on one of the three extensive terraces around the main house.
The first floor has two bedrooms with queen-size beds and two bedroom suites with king-size beds, one with a small child's room. The single beds can be placed to suit your group either in the main house or in the pool cottage.
In the evening enjoy the city lights of Malaga from the pool and terrace area there. There is a one bedroom cottage with a kitchen and full bathroom at the pool side.
The villa's secluded location makes it ideal for retreats, for yoga or meditation groups and for painting courses.

I've owned the estate for 20 years. I know the area well and keep a close eye on what else is available in the area for holidaymakers.
I'm certain that there's nothing to compare with Las Adelfas for its location, size, facilities and value for money.
