Notes
Cleaning is included in the price. We supply towels and linens (100% cotton) but please bring beach towels. Pool is unfenced and unheated. We do not have a dishwasher and will not install one until we can obtain environmentally friendly dishwasher tablets in Spain (surely not that long off?!). We do not have air conditioning for environmental reasons. We have stayed when the temperature has been 40 degrees plus. We found that drawing the blinds during the day to keep out the sun, and using the ceiling fans overnight were sufficient to keep cool. We also have a large mosquito net for the upstairs bedroom, but we have not yet used this.

Relaxing week with family. Unfortunately the weather wasn't kind to us this time. But the villa is still a great place to relax and unwind.

I visit L'Atmella del Mar every year with a group of friends. Whilst there is a lot to do in the area, we choose to stay in the villa and relax by the pool in the day, and have a BBQ and drinks in the evening. Really recommend it if you want a holiday with very little stress!

Thank you Lorrie and Mick for an amazing fortnight in your beautiful villa. We are a family of four, our children are ten and seven years old. Treinta-y-Ocho is definitely head and shoulders above any other villa we have stayed in before. The pool and gardens are breathtaking. The villa itself is situated on a quiet road with little passing traffic, we really felt away from it all! The villa is equipped with everything you need and more, almost embarrassingly so! There is a lovely bar/restaurant within walking distance of the villa, with pitanque, adjacent to a small children's play park and 5-a-side/basketball court. Also within walking distance is the communal swimming pool, which is excellent for swimming lengths in and is always quiet. There are numerous small, sandy beaches within a five minute drive that are perfect for the children. The nearest Mercadona is a ten minute drive away in L'Ametlla del Mar, We can't wait to return next year!

Spent a week in this beautiful villa and had an amazing time, it was perfect for a quiet and relaxing family holiday (there are five of us inc. three kids aged 7, 12 and 14). The pool is fabulous, we spent many hours in there enjoying all the inflatables - the unicorn lilo was a big hit! The large garden has so many interesting plants and ‘secret’ places to discover, the two older kids could often be found relaxing in hammocks and listening to their music. The villa has everything you need to make your holiday very easy - great toys to take to the beach, bbq equipment, bikes etc. and there is a comprehensive information book which provides everything you need to know about the villa and the surrounding area. We went to Barcelona for the day which was wonderful, and to Miravet where we enjoyed the beautiful views from the castle and a lovely cafe which looked out over the Ebro river for a much needed drink. The nearby beaches are all clean and we had great fun in the sea looking for fish. This villa is such a special place and perfect if you want a slower pace of life, we didn’t want to leave. Lorrie the owner has been brilliant, answering all our many questions and giving some great tips about the area. Thank you so much for the most fabulous relaxing holiday, we can't wait to return!
