The place was very clean and all equipment was working perfectly. It is located 100m from beautiful, peaceful beach. View from the terrace on the ocean is just wonderful. It is also a good place for taking tours to the nearby cities if you have a car at your disposal. Sevilla, Gibraltar, Ronda, Cadiz, Jerez etc are all within less than 2h drive from there. Reitze and his wife Ana are very nice and always willing to help. Late check in or check out is not a problem as they live very close. My family really enjoyed staying in El Puerto de Santa Maria.

We attended theEuropean Croquet Championships in Vista Hermosa, so we didn't thoroughly explore the area, but the view from the apartment is stunning, most enjoyable and relaxing. Our host was helpful and charming, we had a lovely time and look forward to returning.

Reitze couldn't have been more helpful, everything was arranged very efficiently and he lives nearby which is helpful. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed though in truth could be updated a little. The small terrace was just perfect with a spectacular view of the sea, ideal for viewing the sunset. There was no daily service to the apartment, hence the lower rating but Reitze was very responsive to queries when needed. A fabulous beach is just a few steps away and you fall asleep listening to the waves. I was sad to leave and would definitely book again.

Hi Jayne, Thanks for your nice review especialy for your nice words about me. About the roomservice I just can tell you that the apartment is only rented and no daily service is made, it states like that in the contract. Ofcours sorry that the rental didn´t meet your expectation in that matter. I have seen on the web page from where you contacted me and there does´t appear that daily roomservices will be incluided. On the other hand neither it appears that that kind of service is not given. To prevent this kind of decepcion I will contact with Spain Holiday and ask them if they can state clearly if roomservices is contracted or not. Any way it was good to hear that you had a nice time in El Puerto de Santa Maria. Saludos, Reitze

We had an excellent stay at Reitze's place in El Manantial. The accommodation was spacious,clean and well-equipped. Above all, the location is fantastic: about 50 metres from the excellent beach. The owner lives a few hundred metres away and struck a good balance between leaving us to get on with it and being quickly contactable if we needed anything. He is a friendly and sociable guy. The only slight negative was the weakness of the WiFi signal (maybe install a signal booster?) but we always managed to get online if we needed to. Overall, I'd definitely go back and would strongly recommend it.
