This was exactly what we were looking for and probably our best holiday ever. There were a few issues which need mentioning, I’ll come onto. The property is part of a small complex of 8 properties, 2 were holiday lets and 2 more long term lets. The others are yet to be developed. The one next to us was having work done, which was noise at times. Tim the owner was very apologetic, he invited us to his house for breakfast on the other side of the valley while some of the work was going on. The other people we met there were really nice. The long term renters made us feel really welcome. On the first night we arrived at 6pm and they welcomed us. Gave us a drink and even some provisions for the next morning. The property has great use of the pool and has 3 terraces so there’s always sun for you. The back has fantastic views of the Lecrín valley. The village is quiet but there is a lot of dog barking, day and night. There’s just one bar but it’s open 6 days a week and does great Tapas free with every drink. Make sure you go when the kitchen is open though! The village is a short distance to the motorway and a bit further to a large supermarket. The WiFi was poor the whole stay. Tim spoke with the WIF company a few times but it didn’t really improve. Overall we had a great holiday but there were a few niggles which I thought worth mentioning.

As you say it was your best holiday ever, I can only be happy! You were our best guests for ages. Thank you for pointing out little niggles, but I am happy there were a lot more plusses, We should be able to install glass fibre cable internet into the Jardines de PInos very soon, just like we have in Acequias. Thanks for coming and spreading the word!

"We really enjoyed our stay. The house was better than we expected, clean well equipped and comfortable with amazing views of the Lecrin Valley . This complex is really a little community and we made some great friends. We definitely would stay here again."

Myself, husband and 2 teenage children have just returned after 10 amazing days in Pino Del Valle. The house was perfect for us, on 3 levels so the kids had there own space and private terraces. The pool was great plenty big enough for diving and swimming and very clean. Pino Del Valle was in a really good location, we went to the beach, waterpark, Appujarra and Granada all in under an hour. I found a yoga center 15 mins walk away with chi gung, yoga and meditation everyday. There are loads of local walks to explore with stunning scenery. I fully recommend the village bar and bakery. As we have no Spanish between us I found it very helpful and reassuring that the owner is English and happy to answer any questions we had. My favourite thing was all the trees - oranges, lemons, almonds, walnuts and olives everywhere ~ heaven!
