The Costa de la Luz (also known as the Coast of Light) is in the Spanish province of Andalucia in southern Spain. El Puerto de Santa Maria is an old fishing town situated across the bay from Cadiz ( the oldest city in Europe) on the Atlantic Ocean just before entering into the Mediterranean. A lively town with many places to visit and numerous outstanding restaurants it is a short ten minute drive from the house for shopping, tapa bars, and bullfighting at the classic bullring. Enjoy delicious fresh fish at the local mariscos. Visit the famous Osborne Bodega and taste the delicious locally made and world famous sherrys. The house is a convenient staging ground to tour Andalucia or for just relaxing at the beach which is walking distance from the house (100 meters). Explore this part of Andalucia: the town of Jerez de la Frontera is 20 min by car and has numerous bodegas and shopping. Jerez also hosts the world famous Royal Andalucian Schools of Equestrian Arts, which features twice-weekly shows that are an unforgettable experience. Additionally, the internationally renowned Spanish Motorcycle Grand Prix is held in late April/Early May. The famous city of Sevilla is an easy hour away by car or train to visit the famous Alcazar and other historic sites. Take the water taxi to Cádiz and wander the streets of this ancient beautiful city. The house is located walking distance from the fashionable Puerto Sherry Marina, with surfing and sailing clubs, restaurants and cafes overlooking the Bay of Cadiz. Walk to Playa La Muralla and enjoy the small beach or venture five minutes to the west and enjoy the longer Vista Hermosa Beach. We have an onsite property manager, Ramon Morant.

Anmerkungen
If you agree to rent from us, the following serves as a contract for the rental: For secure payment, we prefer direct bank-to-bank wire transfer. Banking information will be forwarded upon decision to rent. 300 euros is required upon making reservations with this amount going towards the 50% of rent that is required as a deposit 60 days prior to rental. The remainder of rent is two weeks prior to arrival. Prices are subject to change due to fluctuating currency rates.
CANCELLATIONS – Cancellations or changes will be reviewed on a case by case basis. If made within 59 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit.
If you do not agree on any of the terms and conditions of the payment and booking as listed in this document, we have the right to cancel your reservation.

DAMAGE/RESERVATION DEPOSIT-
A damage deposit of 300 Euros is required. If you have received a discount on the rental or if there is a maximum of 8 persons, this fee may be increased to 500 euros. This must be paid with the final rent payment due two weeks prior to arrival in the same bank account. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable within (14) days of departure, provided the provisions listed below are met. It is our only insurance that our guests will leave the house in good condition. We require this deposit to cover lost keys/loss of remote controls, replacement of broken basic kitchen supplies and appliances, and other items that come up missing or damaged (such as outside furniture, persianas/shades in bedrooms, permanently soiled linens and towels.). If these conditions are not met or there has been obvious abuse of the property, the 300 euro deposit will NOT be returned. In order for you to get your full deposit back, please follow the provisions listed below. Please only use the items, linens and towels that are set out and do not use items in the upper parts of the closets. We have detailed inventory of items inside and outside the house, once we can account for everything, we will notify you by e-mail on when you can receive your deposit. Typically it will take about 10 days before we can complete the process. We will wire the money to your account.
Conditions
a) Remove all leftover food items and beverages in the refrigerator and freezer.
b) Do not leave any dirty dishes in the sink or dishwasher.
c) Remove all laundry from the washing machine.
d) Remove trash and place in the nearest trash receptacle outside of the house.
e) Notify property manager on any issues about the house that may require attention.
f) Return all keys and remote control to property manager.
g) Return all patio furniture and pool loungers to its original proper location.
h) Return all inside furniture to its original/proper location.
i) Please ensure that you take all your belongings with you. Do not remove any of our articles from the house.
j) Electricity and other utilities are for the house only. NO RECREATIONAL VEHICLES (Campers, trailers) ARE ALLOWED IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD (nor should they be connected in any way to electricity in the home. If you bring a recreational vehicle with you, it must be parked on the main street outside of the neighborhood.


NO DAILY MAID SERVICE – While linens and bath towels are included with the rental, daily maid service is not included or available at the time. If you would like maid service during your stay, I can notify my cleaning lady.

Our house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood and we would like our valued guests to be mindful of the noise level after hours. So please be considerate of the neighbors and maintain the noise level to a minimum after midnight. If for any reason, the police have to be called for disturbances, this may cause forfeiture of your total security deposit.

Any illegal activity being conducted inside the premises will be grounds for removal. Payments will not be refunded.

Any intentional misreporting of the actual number of guests will also be grounds for cancellation of booking. The deposit will not be refunded.

Holidays and special events dates are subject to different prices than those listed (this would include Moto Grand Prix, feria, Christmas, Three Kings, etc. Prices are negotiable).
