Landhaus zur Miete in Roses

This casita (little house) is situated down a private driveway off a country road under 1km from the quaint village of Pau. Plenty of parking area for cars, bikes, boats, motorhomes. A deck area leads up to the large front patio doors.
The deck can be used for outdoor dining with views over the countryside and mountains. On entering the casita, you have a spacious open-plan kitchen/dining/living room which contains a dining room table and 6 chairs and a double sofa bed. The kitchen is basic but equipped with 2 ring hob and oven/microwave and fridge/freezer. This area has a split unit which can be used for air-conditioning or heating as required. There is a large bathroom which has a bath and shower attachment. The bedroom is very spacious and has a large wardrobe and large double bed. There is a french door leading out from the bedroom onto a small deck area suitable for reading or just enjoying the surrounding nature. Ideal for cyclists, walkers, artists, writers or birdwatchers!
Pau is a lovely old Spanish village and only 5-10 minutes walk. It has a civic centre where you can get something to eat or drink and sometimes has live bands in the evening, also free WIFI. There are other restaurants in Pau and a tiny shop for convenience.
Pau also has a fantastic outdoor pool in the summer months that is only used by a few locals and holiday makers and not normally crowded.
You have a choice of many beaches but the nearest is only 10 minutes drive away. There are many walks to do around the surrounding area. Figueres with the Dali museum is well worth a visit, only 15 minutes by car. Girona has a beautiful old town to visit with heaps of history and a stunning cathedral. Castello is only 10 minutes by car and is a medieval town, has many festivals throughout the year and again a stunning cathedral which is really worth visiting.
The casita is situated on a non-working farm and behind the main house.
For winter bookings there is a log burner too!
