Our apartment is situated in a new development on the outskirts of the town of Iznalloz, which is just north of the city of Granada. It overlooks the communal swimming pools and has it’s own private roof terrace with beautiful views over the town to the mountains of the Sierra Arana beyond.
The bright and airy lounge has patio doors leading to a second smaller balcony. The main bedroom has a double bed, the second bedroom has two singles, there is also a double bed settee in the lounge for extra guests. The American style kitchen is fully equipped, and includes oven, ceramic hob, large fridge freezer and dishwasher. There is an automatic washing machine in the utility room. All heating, hot water and linen is included in the price. The complex is situated on a hill overlooking the town and surrounding countryside.
The apartment block within the complex has attractive quiet inner courtyards. There is also secure underground parking and a lift to all floors. Iznalloz is a typical small Spanish town with all the amenities you may need, with supermarkets, shops, banks, bars and restaurants and a health centre. It lies about twenty minutes away by car from the historic city of Granada, with the magnificent Alhambra Palace and the world heritage site of the Albaicin and Sacromonte neighbourhoods.
There are regular buses into the city from the town, and trains to Granada, Seville and Barcelona, amongst other places. The town is surrounded by beautiful countryside, which is perfect for walking, cycling or climbing. There are at least two golf courses within easy reach, and the beaches of the Costa Tropical are about an hour away by car. Granada airport is thirty minutes away and Malaga is an hour and a half.
