La Casita is for a beach holiday with a difference. This beautiful traditional stone house is located in the heart of Calpe village but at the same time just a few minutes’ walk from the sandy beaches that Calpe is renowned for. If you’re looking for a holiday that’s more than just beach then this is the place for you.
Here you will get a taste of the real Spanish village life. The house is on a pedestrian street but with all amenities nearby: small shops such as bakery, butcher’s, grocer’s, newsagent’s just seconds from the door, but also supermarkets and banks etc. a few minutes’ walk away.

For evening entertainment, there are lots of little bars and restaurants in the surrounding streets. Neighbours sit outside their doors to enjoy the balmy summer nights and the atmosphere. You can also stroll through the craft market just around the corner, on from mid June to mid Sept. Free concerts and jazz nights are performed throughout the summer months at the amphitheatre, which is also a short walk from the house. Fiesta time in Calpe is from the 5 - 10 August – here in La Casita you’ll be at the hub of all the activity.

The house itself is absolutely charming. An old village house, it has been beautifully restored with great dedication: wood beamed ceilings, old carved doors and hand decorated tiles are just some of the features. The owner/agent is a professional ceramic artist so many of the details are his work. The rooms are laid out on three split-level floors; downstairs are the kitchen and dining-room, on middle floor are the sitting-room and bedroom and the bathroom is on the top floor.

Sleeping accommodation is for four maximum: a double bed and double sofa bed, so it is ideally suited to a couple with one or two children.
