Cortijo Blanca has been tastefully renovated to retain its original character and charm. It is in a quiet, peaceful location yet the nearest town of Albox is only 10 mins drive away. Inside the house it is fully furnished with every modern amenity to ensure total comfort. The farmhouse is surrounded by beautiful panoramic views and offers an ideal retreat for those travellers who prefer a tranquil holiday away from the busy coastal resorts.

Outside the farmhouse you can sit and relax by the pool and enjoy the views or sit underneath the shaded areas away from the hot summer sun. There is a large landscaped garden with a purpose-built brick barbecue and a fridge for your drinks. Also provided is a sheltered gazebo and inside this there is a table and chairs seating 6. The gazebo is fully netted to protect yourself from any mosquitoes and flies making this the ideal place to eat or to relax and watch the stars at night. The swimming pool is 9m x 4m with roman steps. The garden and pool are exclusively for your private use and it is not overlooked.

Travelling by car is easy and the main road from Albox runs close at hand in either direction to Baza and Granada, and Almeria. For nature lovers and walkers to the north of Baza there are beautiful lakes and green forests. Other day trips include mini-hollywood, the Sorbas Caves, Vera waterslide park and the Alhambra palace (Granada).

The nearest town is 10 minutes drive away and the nearest village of Las Pocicas is 5 minutes drive away. There are several other small towns, all within driving distance, including Taberno, Cantoria and Antas. Nijar is a quaint, famous pottery town which also has a variety of bars and restaurants to choose from.

At the beautiful Lake Negratin, you can boat and swim for those who prefer to be away from the crowded coastal resorts.

Should you want to visit the coast there are the coastal resorts of Mojacar, Garucha and the beautiful unspoilt beaches of Cabo de Gata.

For the golf lovers there are 4 golf courses all within 1hours driving.

During your stay at Cortijo Blanca there should be everything to suit most peoples needs yet it is away from the mayhem of the hectic coastal towns.
