The apartment faces west and is on the outside of the complex, (not poolside) so it enjoys the afternoon and evening sun, side sea and inland mountain views and avoids noise disturbance coming up from the pool.

Puerto has great diving, snorkelling, sailing, windsurfing and fishing. The beaches and small bays slope gently into crystal clear waters. Beach-side villages and miles of countryside surround the 32 km bay of Mazarron.

Residencial Las Brisas has a large pool with sunbathing terraces, poolside toilets and changing facilities. The pool has a separated shallow section for children and has a lifeguard in high season.

The lounge and the twin bedroom have sliding patio doors leading onto the balcony.

The television has Spanish channels and a satellite service for UK freeview hannels including BBC and ITV.

The kitchen has granite worktops, full oven, large fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster, washing machine, ceramic hob and extractor.

The bedrooms have ceiling fans for summertime. The lounge and bedrooms have fixed wall heaters for a warm and welcoming winter holiday.

The fully-tiled bathroom has a full size bath with overhead shower.

Las Brisas has a telephone entry system and lift access to all levels, including the pool and a small communal rooftop solarium.

Our second floor apartment is on a corner so the side windows in the lounge and kitchen make it light and airy.

We operate a book library where you can leave any finished books and take a new one home with you.

A portable air conditioner can be rented for a supplement.

Puerto de Mazarron

The Costa Calida is one of Spain´s best places to holiday, having a gentle warm winter and long hot summer days.

The coastal areas of Mazarron and Puerto de Mazarron boast some of the finest beaches in Spain and the untouched nature of the coastline and countryside appeals to those who seek a tranquil environment for their holidays.

Puerto de Mazarron is a popular resort for Spanish families and in the peak season (July and August) the population swells to capacity. At other times of the year it can be very quiet which makes Puerto ideal for that quiet "get away from it all" style holiday.

The area is ideal for walking holidays, with a variety of marked walks to suit all abilities.

Puerto has an attractive new marina, a variety of restaurants, tapas bars, evening entertainment bars, cultural activities including an open air summer cinema, indoor and outdoor sports facilities including ten pin bowling, sports hall, kart track, an uncovered Roman salt factory museum and a newly opened (or soon to be opened) Phonecian boat information centre.

Puerto is one of the most important tourist centres for marine and sub-aquatic activities in Spain. The frequency of prevailing winds throughout the year in the Bay of Mazarron means sailing instruction and practice can be undertaken at any time of the year. The clear waters and rich flora and fauna offer the enthusiast some highly interesting dives.

The council regularly provides free beach concerts and has theme beaches with facilities for different ages with a variety of free sports and relaxation facilities - even designated nudist beaches.

In summer, Puerto de Mazarron has a couple of night clubs and two open-air out of town summer clubs which start very late and continue until sunrise.

Out and About

Camposol golf course is about 10 minutes by car, with La Manga only 40 minutes away.

Cartagena, a historic city with beautiful architecture, a pedestrianised upmarket shopping area, a variety of museums, newly opened (unearthed) Roman ampitheatre and a large port with a seafront paseo, is 30 minutes away by car.

The ancient city of Murcia is the capital of the region. It is easy to get to by train or road and has a historical centre with a cathedral, casino, churches and lots of interesting architecture, cafes, taps bars and some quality restaurants.

Whilst in the area, a visit to the beautiful Sierra Espuna National Park, to the north of Mazarron, through Totana or Alhama is a must. The drive and views are spectacular. On the journey and in the park there are local Spanish bars and restaurants serving good quality, reasonably priced food, or you can take your own food to cook on the outdoor barbecues in the designated picnic areas. The park has a visitor centre and signposted walks with amazing views.
