Villa Regann is our private villa in over half an acre plot and recently totally refurbished. It has its own solar heated 9x4 pool with private sunbathing areas, uninterrupted panoramic views over mountains, valley & sea, equipped to be home from home.
Full Central heating.
There are 3 sunbathing terraces to follow the sun around the sky. Plenty of sunbeds and chairs plus shaded areas and umbrellas. 2 tables for al fresco eating and a gas BBQ. The 9m x 4m solar heated pool is 120cm (almost 4’) deep at the shallow end and nearly 160cm at the deep end. It is very private. Outside the 1/2 acre garden is steep & campo in nature.
Three double bedrooms all with fitted wardrobes, radiators and overhead fans - One King size double, one double, one twin bedded.
However - we limit villa occupancy to four or five.

Three bathrooms(two en-suite) and all with baths and showers.

Spacious lounge with superb views, 4 twin sofas, satellite 32" LCD TV, DVD, stereo CD/Radio, books and maps.

Newly fitted large kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, microwave grill and Fridge/freezer etc. Granite tops and lots of cupboard space.

Large breakfast room that dines 6, twin leather sofas and with patio doors to the pool area. Portable MP3 player with CDs for hours of background music.

Utility/storeroom with sink, washing machine and drinks fridge. Garage & covered car port.

Outside there are terraces front, side and rear and a mobile gas barbecue. Daytime breezes mean fewer bugs. There is ample space for sunbathing as well as shaded areas to escape from too much sun. It is ideal for outside living.

Recent improvements include Wireless broadband, central heating, double glazing, solar hot water, security and much more.
You have the use of two mountain bikes, DVDs/Videos, CDs books and maps etc.

Mojacar area is Spain as she used to be, small villages in the hills, each with a small bar for drinks and tapas. Orange, lemon, almond and olive trees, goat herds, a slow way of life that is disappearing.
The building code prohibits hotels of more than three storeys and so the coastline is one of the most pleasant in Spain.

Golf, tennis, green bowling, horse riding are within a 15 minute drive and on the 17 kilometres of beaches there is wind surfing, scuba diving, jet skis. Stunning views from mountain drives or walks. Prehistoric caves at Sorbas, Roman and Moorish remains. Gold, silver, copper and lead were all mined in the past. See to believe.

El Pinar, 6 miles inland from Mojacar on the Costa Almeria, is 50 minutes from Almeria airport or 2 hours from Alicante, both motorway drives. This coast is the driest, warmest in Spain, average rainfall 11, more than 300 days of sunshine.

El Pinar is a small mountain village of about 60 villas most of which are English owned. The village is 300m high in the Sierra Filabres - the nearest shops are 4 kms away. Most of the villas have large plots - ours is at the end of the road, with a commanding view and the plot size is well over 1/2 an acre. No passing traffic.

The entire Mojacar area has been a haven for developers and El Pinar may, in time, be developed into a top class area for the tourist who appreciates the hills rather than the bustle of the coast. We already have a new palm lined road up the mountain and a proper water supply but this work has now stopped and the village is quiet.

Golf information: The local golf course is at Cortijo Grande about 4 miles away en route to the coast. It is situated in a green valley within spectacular hills and very popular as a challenging course. Two new courses have recently been completed adjacent to Mojacar Playa.

Nature watching: Eagles, Red Kites, Hoopoes, Ibex and more are seen from our elevated viewing position.

Tranquil, secluded but not remote Villa Regann offers quality with spectacular views - a car is essential.

And what about the fabulous views from Villa Regann?
You can see the Cartagena peninsular which is about 100km away but it will be a rare day that the view will free from any haze.
Or Aguilas which is 40km distance not that it has much to see.
Maybe use the binoculars to see the 20km to Vera Playa but, as with any distant view it is all too far away.
That is why we prefer our view to the immediate coastline at Garrucha, the harbour and Mojacar Playa.
But the best view of all is the 10km to the rolling hills of the Sierra Cabrera with the houses on the hillside, the hill villages and the evening shadows all whilst sipping a G&T on the side patio!!!
What a choice of views!!

We have a local friend in El Pinar who will provide weekly pool maintenance and is available to help with any unforeseen problems - no maid service.

The price includes a starter pack in the fridge for your arrival & all cleaning costs at the end of your stay.

We supply an 8 page Villa Info leaflet designed to make your holiday start as a success from Day 1 - all the local places to visit and hints and tips to avoid wasted time. It is updated every time that we go there ourselves!

Our villa is the southern most villa in the village - this Google Earth picture was taken just before the villa was extended with the new pool etc.
