Cartagena, 20 minutes drive away, provides many shops within massive shopping complexs and also local shops and customs with something for everyone, not to mention a further huge range of restaurants. La Manga is of course famous for its golf and there are many courses within a very short distance including the famous La Manga course. The coast of the Mar Menor is a mere 10 minute walk away providing a relaxing environment all year round, not to mention the very warm sea water.
