La Casa de Piedra is an interestingly designed, well-equipped villa with superb, panoramic views (down to the sea on a clear day). It has a roof terrace, a large pool (10 metres), landscaped gardens and olive trees below within its extensive grounds. If you want a restful, ‘get away from it all’ place, with plenty of opportunities to enjoy scenic roads, visit interesting places and get down to the beaches of Costa del Sol, this is it! It is located in the small community of El Curato, along a short track just off the old Malaga-Antequera road, but is very private and enjoys uninterrupted views across the hills. Villas in El Curato are very scattered, not in a complex, no way urbanised as the Spanish word on the map may suggest! It is furnished and equipped in a style that fits in with the overall feel of the villa, which has a rather Moroccan flavour. There is air conditioning in much of the house, which also provides heating for chilly evenings, and even cosier, a wood-burning stove and wood effect gas fire. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, an American style fridge freezer and masses of cupbord space.
