Los Olivos is a three bed villa that has undergone a total refurbishment. There are three good sized bedrooms (one double and two sets of twin beds) within the main house. The villa has a very spacious lounge with air-conditioning and dining room, the lounge has just had a new log burner installed to make it warmer and cosier through the early months of the year, the third bedroom is the pool suite with doors leading to the patio and swimming pool (4m x 8m); all rooms have high ceilings, giving you a very spacious feel. Fully equipped modern kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. Los Olivos has wifi internet access and Sat T.V. The villa is secure with electric gates, offering both private garden areas and pool side areas for sunbathing.
The villa is situated within a quiet and peaceful setting but yet its only a 3 minutes drive from the high street or a 17 minute walk to restaurants, bars and nightlife. There is a 27 hole golf course at Lauro Golf and it only takes a few minutes to drive there from the villa. To get the most out of your stay we recommend a car.
Just a few minutes walk from your door we have the most beautiful pine forest walks and superb safe cycling.
The pool and gardens are maintained on a weekly basis as we the owners live next door in an self-contained attached apartment with separate gardens and access.
Beaches! Just a 20 minute drive and you will be at the beach. Marbella and Benalmadena are just a few of the fantastic beaches that the Costa del Sol has to offer.
Alhaurin el Grande is a typical whitewashed Spanish market town, consisting of the old quarters and the more modern new town, with many interesting shops and a market. There are many restaurants, pavement cafes and tapas bars all offering excellent cuisine at very good prices not to mention the Spanish measures of spirits!! Alhaurin el Grande makes an excellent touring base to explore the beauty of the andulcian mountain range or the many coastal resorts of Costa del Sol. With miles of golden beaches, water sports, parks/zoos casinos and international shopping. Nearby resorts are Marbella, Puerto Banus, Fuengirola & Torremolinos. Ferries leave Gibraltar to visit Morroco or take a boat trip through the med and wonder at the whales and dolphins. Inland within the stunning mountains are well renowned villages such as Mijas or the turquoise lakes at El Chorro. For those who like culture you have cities such as Malaga, Granada or Seville.

We have literally just returned from two weeks of peace and relaxation at WONDERFUL Los Olivos (I haven't even unpacked yet)! Simon and Lyssa have a villa to be proud of and the photos certainly don't do it justice. There is everything provided to make you feel at home. My family certainly enjoyed the playstation, and the TV was a hit with the blokes to follow the World Cup! Even down to the large selection of books to read and dvd's to position is ideal, just a few minutes drive to Alhaurin el Grande and all the lovely shops, bars and restaurants - of which we sampled a few, and Simon only too happy to recommend more. It's an easy 1/2hour drive from Malaga Airport, but the surrounding views and countryside are stunning. We spent the first week with our two children and their partners and also our 4yr old grand-daughter, What a wonderful time was had by all. The gorgeous pool and lovely gardens were all we needed and the bbq was well used as we enjoyed the stunning sunsets! The garden is well secured with eletronic gates, There are plenty of loungers and extra seating provided by tables and chairs. The second week we spent with my brother and sister-in-law, again the pool/garden and bbq was all that was needed. The interior was well laid out with lots of space for relaxing. The Aircon in the bedrooms was a big hit, as was the lovely clean bedding/pillows and comfortable beds. The beautiful kitchen is equipped with all you need and more. The bathroom has a wonderful shower and the ensuite was very spacious light and airy. Simon and Lyssa kept a discreet distance, but were always available when needed. We won't hesitate to recommend you to all our family and friends, and we will definately return ourselves.Thanks again for a wonderful time - Jan, Dave & Co. xx

Thank you for a wonderful week,my wife and I had a truly relaxing and sunny week, it was not just the weather that was warm but Simon made us feel right at home from the first moment we met.
I must say that Los Olivos is not lacking for anything in any way, it was like home from home, we had a vast choice of books, music and even DVD at our disposal, not that we stayed in and watched the T.V. In Alhaurin itself there are many wonderful restaurants and cafe's to choose from and it was only a few minuted in the car.
One of the hightlights for us with Los Olivos is that it is surrounded by the most amazing of views, you feel that you are miles away from the hustle and bussle but it is perfectly positioned for everything.
Rhonda was brilliant and would recommend that trip out to everyone, Granada and Nerja were also fabulous days out.
Thank you Simon for making us so welcome in your wonderful villa and for also keeping the swimming pool spotless, we needed the pool to cool down, even in October!

From the very moment we were met at Hotel Mirador, having been given great directions we felt looked after, Los Olivos was a beautiful villa just like it said, I don't think the photo's do it justice, we had everything we could wish for and more, they even left us plenty of books, dvd and cd's to relax with.
The villa was very clean and spacious and the kitchen had evrything you could wish for.
We were just located on the edge of the pine forest with stunning views of the surrounding mountains but yet just a few minutes to the main high street of Alhaurin El Grande.
We are golfers and we were just a few minutes from lauro Golf and about 10 minutes from Alhaurin Golf
The pine forest just a few minutes walk away were magical, great for walking and cycling

Dear Simon,
I want to thank you for the pleasant stay we had during the ten days in Los Olivos.
It’s a lovely house and the environment is worth the visit.
We visited Ronda and Antiquera and the ‘Flamingo’lake upnorth, Gibraltar, the beache.
We also went whale watching in Tarifa, we were very excited to see the dolphins.
The restaurants were good, everything was positive.
Maybe till another time!
