Nestled in its own orchards with beautiful views of the valley, Finca La Calva is the ideal holiday base for those seeking peace and tranquility, whilst only 30 mins drive from the coast and airport.Depending on the season, enjoy sitting on our large terrace underneath fragrant jasmine or relaxing amongst our fruit trees including oranges, lemons, figs, almonds and tangerines. Do as much or little as you feel like whilst escaping the burdens of everyday life and enjoy the slower pace of a typical Andalucian country house. Situated in an idyllically secluded location you are never far from whatever you could wish for the coast, mountains, lakes and beautiful white villages are all only a short drive away. The area has some of the finest golf courses. Other activaties include horse riding, fishing, bird watching, cycling, and the area is a walkers paradise. For those who prefer not to drive, we can meet you at the airport and take you to the finca.
The House sleeps 6 people.
Bedroom 1 has a king size bed, with en-suite large walk in shower,wash basin and toilet.There are French windows opening onto a veranda with beautifulviews of the surrounding country side.
Bedroom 2 is the same but without a shower.
Bedroom 3 has a double bed and is located on the ground floor and has its own fully equipped bathroom.
The rest of the ground floor consists of a lovely hexagonal beamed kitchen equipped with all mod cons. (A utility room leads off the kitchen and houses a washing machine, tumble dryer and storage area). The dinning area which seats 6 people leads to a lounge fitted with a wood burning stove. (Again all mod cons including English satalite tv, dvd player, cd and radio. There are also a selection of games, books etc.) Finally the front door leads onto a large terraced area shaded from the heat of the sun by bamboo screens and a canopy of fragrant jasmine. (depending on the season.) From hear enjoy the well kept gardens, pool area and large Italian style barbaque.
The house is situated approx one and a half kilometers down orange groves and accessed by a dirt track and whilst secluded is close to excellent road links which make getting out and about very easy
In short, Finca La Cava is perfect for those who want to stay put and do very little or a fantastic base for those wishing to explore the surrounding countryside from the mountains to the coast.
