Casa Feliz is set amidst its own olive grove and has been totally renovated to provide comfortable family accommodation. It has three double bedrooms with an open plan kitchen into the dining area and lounge.

A door from the living area leads onto a walled courtyard at the rear. A door to the front leads straight onto an enclosed vine covered terrace with private full size pool. Below the pool area there is a large split level sun terrace with stunning views over Iznajar Lake. A perfect place to enjoy an evening drink or meal watching the reflections of the sun setting over the water. All of the terraces have soft lighting for you to enjoy late evenings outside listening to the cicadas and looking at the stars.

We are just 50 minutes drive from both Malaga and Granada Airports where there are a good choice of low cost airlines.

Casa Feliz is a great base for sightseeing. Less than 2 hours drive is Cordoba with its famous Arabian Mosque (La Mezquita) or The beautiful city of Seville. Granada with The Arabian Monuments of "La Alhambra" is only 1 hour away and then just another half hour to The International Ski Resort of Sierra Nevada.

The local village of Iznajar (pronounced Ith-nak-har) is just 5 minutes drive away with its steep cobbled streets. ancient castle and churches, plus a selection of quaint shops.

Iznajar has a beach on the lake where you can swim, fish or hire pedalos and boats. There is also a restaurant and bar next to the beach.

The house has three bedrooms. The Master Bedroom with large balcony has a king size bed and luxury en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom is twin bedded with en-suite W.C. washing facilities and its own balcony. The third bedroom is on the ground floor with twin beds and double doors leading onto the terrace. All of the bedrooms are well furnished and all have wardrobes and dressing tables.

The lounge has sofas, satellite TV with some English channels. There is also a DVD & Video Machine, Music Centre, Films, Music, Local literature, Maps and Games.

The open plan kitchen is well equipped with full size range type gas cooker, large fridge freezer and opens onto the dining area with table and chairs.

The kitchen also leads into a Utility room with Washing Machine and then into The Family Bathroom with Large Shower.

There is a Full size Pool, three terraces and a courtyard all equipped with outside furniture, Sun Loungers and a Gas Barbecue.

The House is detached and set in area of oustanding beauty and perfect for a quiet retreat or to discover the delights of Andalucia. Our own house is adjacent to Casa Feliz where we are on hand to give any help or advice that may be required.

There is a large parking area at the front of the house.

Painting lessons for beginners are available with the villa owner Michael Bernasconi. 2 hourly lessons in watercolours for one or two people in his open air studio can be booked on arrival.
Michael also has his own gallery in the converted water tower at the entrance to Casa Feliz where you are welcome to view his paintings.
