This lovely townhouse is good value-for-money being comfortably furnished, well appointed and fully equipped (see photos and prices). It is in the beautiful area of Playa Paraiso, near La Manga strip on the Mar Menor(small sea) in the Costa Calida , in the region of Murcia and is ideal for your Spanish holiday. The property is a short drive away from the La Manga Golf complex and the shops and restaurants of the La Manga strip.
The house is fully furnished and has 1 double bedroom with fitted wardrobes , 1 twin bedroom with fitted wardrobes , 2 bathrooms , lounge / diner, kitchen, front terrace with sun room and rear patio with furniture, and balcony to main bedroom with furniture. There is air conditioning / heating to the lounge / diner and both bedrooms , plus a moveable self-standing fan.
A ring binder is provided with information on the house and surrounding areas ¡V please leave it complete for the next visitor. As this is our home for part of the year, it is a no smoking house; but ashtrays are provided for outside use.

The Area

Playa Paraiso is situated on the beach of the Mar Menor, a lagoon connected to the Mediterranean via the La Manga strip(see map of area). There are lovely beaches , ideal for family holidays by the sea , and there is access to watersports and golf nearby.
This area has long been a favourite of the Spanish who come for a relaxing holiday , away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life ; do not expect to find the 24 hour life associated with some of the other Costas
The Costa Calida is in the region of Murcia and enjoys an excellent climate , which gives up to 320 days of sunshine a year on average (that is why we bought the house). There are plenty of unspoilt beaches , small villages , and breathtaking countryside to explore , so a hire car would be useful and gives you the freedom to travel , shop , sightsee , and dine at times of your choice. Murcia airport is about 25 minutes drive away and Alicante airport is about 90 minutes away by good motorway/dual carriageway links. Both airports have car hire offices available.( There are plenty of car hire options on the internet ).
The historic towns of Murcia and Cartagena are only a short drive away and well worth a visit. Then there is Cabo de Palos , a beautiful fishing village , at the start of La Manga strip. It is 5 minutes drive away , has several good seafood restaurants , and is also ideal for that lazy , casual drink/coffee by the sea while watching the world go by.
Next to Playa Paraiso is Playa Honda where you will find a small supermarket , a chemist shop , and a few restaurants/bars which are all within walking distance.
A little further afield is the La Manga strip where you will find supermarkets , banks , etc. to meet most of your shopping needs. In the opposite direction is Los Belones which is also worth a visit for shopping , dining , or to chillout in the village square with a drink ; so there are plenty of good restaurants available in La Manga , Cabo de Palos , and Los Belones.

Prices per week for 2012 (Non refundable payment due at least 4 weeks before start of holiday)


Prices apply from each Saturday of the let and lets are from Saturday 3pm to Saturday 10am- to allow for cleaning of the house(any other date/time arrangement is by prior agreement with owner.) A returnable security of £150 against damages is payable at time of booking – this will be returned 2 weeks after holiday finishes subject to damage inspection. You are recommended to check that you and your party have adequate travel/medical/personal accident and cancellation insurance to cover all your possible holiday claims.
