Villa zur Miete in Casares

The finca is in an idylic location with views to Gibraltar and Africa to the south and mountains to the north. It has its own private pool and gardens. Nearby is the beautiful traditional white village of Casares. There are several great restaurants just a few minutes drive away which we can recommend. Finca Cortesin (home of Volvo Match Play Championship) golf course and hotel with restaurants and spa 10 mins drive away. There is just a 10 min drive to beaches and the coast. Here there are several beach bars for a refreshing drink after a lazy day at the beach or a leisurely beachside walk to the nearby villages of Sabinillas and the lively marina at Puerto de la Duquesa. Because of this stunning location a car is essential to get around but you may find yourselves reluctant to leave this place even to fetch for groceries.

The entrance to the villa is through a pretty courtyard which is the first of several outside terraces for dining and having drinks during the day as the kitchen opens at one end through patio doors to this beautiful space. The open plan kitchen and dining room also open out onto a cool shaded terrace for dining or just enjoying a cool drink while taking in stunning hillside views down to the coast and across to the rock of Gibraltar. The lounge and dining area has huge exposed beam ceilings and is beautifully furnished, this is a family (not just a holiday) home and is everything you would imagine of an idyllic Spanish villa. On the other side, the lounge/dining area also opens out onto the terraced pool area. This also has a shaded area with swing seat under beautiful creeping vines to relax in when not lounging in the sun or pool.

Downstairs there are 3 bedrooms. Two are double bedrooms. One double bedroom has it's own en-suite which opens out to the pool area. There are a further two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with twin beds. There is also a shower room downstairs. Upstairs is the master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, double bed and a small terrace with wonderful views of the pool area and nearby mountain.

This is a stunning and peaceful countryside retreat yet a short drive from the beach, restaurants and villages.
