Casa Lorca is a lovingly rebuilt Moorish style farmhouse in an absolutely quiet location at the end of a farmer's track. The property consists of the main house, Casa Lorca (sleeping 5), and the Casita (sleeping 2) with their own bathroom and kitchen and garden. The pool and parking space are shared between the two houses. They can be rented together or separately. There are wide views of olive groves and vineyards at the end of the valley with the occasional grazing mule all of which encourage relaxation, peace and quiet. The casita is specially attractive to couples, with no more noise than birdsong, the tinkle of goatbells and the huge starry sky above. It will surprise visitors with its colours and the loving detail in its design. There is a bedroom with two beds, a living room with kitchenette, and a bathroom, and outside an especially beautiful and intimate garden and patio area. The area La Dehesa de Triana is a widely scattered hamlet in the hills above Lake Viñuela, in the region of Axarquia, part of the Spanish province of Málaga. From the house you can walk on a ridge to Los Romanes or Benamorgossa with a wide expanse of lake and mountain views on either side. In other direction is a Moorish Tower and a Buddhist centre. Here the views are huge, with on the one side, the mountains of the Sierra Tejedea, and on the other, the lovely hills next to the blue sea. There is shopping in both directions, each about 5 to 6km away in the villages of Triana, Benamagosa, Los Romanes or Puente Don Manuel. Everywhere you'll find typical tapas bars and country restaurants. It's only a short car ride to reach the nature reserves of Montes de Malaga and Sierra Tejeda, the natural thermal waters of Alhama de Granada, the balcony of Europe in Nerja, and the famous white village of Frigiliana. From the house you can also reach the sea and beaches of Torre del Mar after a roughly half-hour's drive (20 km). Before Torre del Mar is the growing city of Velez-Malaga, with its very typical Spanish and Andalusian charm. Also here is EROSKI the hypermarket, and a modern shopping and entertainment center, which will fully satisfy the high demands of today's customers. The beaches of other coastal towns are also within easy and rapid reach: you can choose between the slower but romantic and picturesque route along the beach resorts or the time-saving motorway parallel to the coast.
