100 meters from the beach, the house has the great advantage to be ideally situated in the heart of Alicante, in the old town, at only 100 meters from the beach. In the same street i.e. calle Villavieja, you may visit the museum of contemporary Art and the magnificent Iglesia Santa Maria. All services - restaurants, supermarkets, shops, pubs, casino, harbour, market place, theater, public transportation, etc. - are at a walking distance.
The whole house has been completely renovated in 2002 by a well-known local architect. The loft style apartment is very spacious (110m²). High ceilings and apparent wooden beams. The apartement comprises a wide bedroom with a double bed on the first level. It also includes a sofa bed. The kitchen, a wide living room and a dining room are all located on the ground floor in an open space. The apartment is very functional and is fully equipped. It comprises notably WIFI, digital TV and DVD player. In the kitchen, you will find a microwave, a washing machine, a fridge/freezer, an oven, toaster, dish washer, etc.

Anmerkungen
You're in the center of Alicante and do not need your car. You can park it next to the house and leave it during your stay unless you wish to travel outside the city. You are at a walking distance to all facilities, restaurants, the harbour and the beach. We suggest that you walk around when you arrive:
- you may choose to climb up to the Castle of Santa Bárbara through the superb and luxurious Parc of the Ereta (Parque de la Ereta). From there, you enjoy a magnificent view to the entire city. Going down through the Toledo and San Roque streets you reach Santa María Square where both the Santa Maria church and the Museum of contemporary art are located. This Square is 50 meters from the house;
-Another option is to walk to the Plaza del Carmen and from there climb through the calle de San Rafael to the lovely Santa Cruz district, a colourful area with a lot of flowers and a lively atmosphere. In this area, you may also enjoy Alicante's nightlife.
We will be happy to provide you with advice on activities and celebrations taking place, restaurants, trendy bars, any tips that you may find useful.
