Casa Deogracias is a 3 bedroom, (145m2) country house set in stunning countryside only a few minutes drive from Sedella, a typical Pueblo Blanco high in the La Axarquia region, but still only a short drive to the beach. It is an hour from Malaga airport, and under 2 hours from the historic city of Granada. Surrounded by National Park, famous for its wildlife and amazing walks, the house sits on a plot of 5,000m2, full of almond and olive trees. With magnificent views of the Sierra Tejeda mountains, it still echoes to the sound of Shepherds herding their goats.
It is a large, bright and airy house with open plan living room and 2 sets of double French doors leading out to covered and open terraces - great for alfresco dining & BBQ’s. The living room is equipped with flat screen HDTV, English Freesat TV, Spanish TV, dvd player & library, and IPod doc, as well as high speed internet. There is also a wood burning fire for the cooler months. The accommodation sleeps 6 people & comprises of 2 doubles and 1 twin room. The master suite has French doors stepping right out to the terrace and pool. There is also a dressing area and en suite with wet room. The 2 additional bedrooms share a large fully fitted family bathroom. The open plan kitchen is fully fitted with all cooking facilities, washing machine, fridge freezer, etc. The terraces are fully furnished with outside dining tables and chairs, as well as sun loungers surrounding the large swimming pool (10x5m).

We are located 1 hour east of Malaga in the direction of Granada and Nerja.

From Malaga Airport you take the coastal motorway A7 travelling towards Almeria Motril/ Rincon de la Victoria . Approximately 35km later, at junction 272, you take the exit for Velez-Malaga/Torre del Mar/Vinuela junction, keeping to the left hand lane on the slip road. This takes you onto a large roundabout and the second exit will take you into the local shopping centre, where we suggest you stock up at Mercadona or Eroski (the two major supermarkets in the area). The fourth exit from the roundabout, counting the entrance to the shopping center as one, will take you onto the road to "Colmenar / Casabermeja / Alhama de Granada" (A335 / A356). You want to remain on this road, rather than follow the signs for Velez-Malaga, which lead into the town centre.

You will pass Velez-Malaga, Trapiche and two large petrol stations on your right and after 9.8km from where you left the motorway there is a sign pointing to the right "Canillas de Aceituno / Sedella / Salares". You follow this sign which takes you left after 300m and right after another 1.4km, then up the hillside for 7.5 kilometers to Canillas de Aceituno. At the small roundabout outside Canillas you take the first exit on the right which takes you onto the bypass towards Sedella. 3 km after there is a sign "Bienvenidos a Sedella" and you still remain on the tarmac road until you see a sign pointing to the right saying "Los Valverdes/Rubite" and another green sign pointing towards "Finca La Maroma, Apartamentos Rurales". You follow this sign and you will now be on one of the local dust tracks.

After a few hundred metres the track takes you through a gap in the hillside and after 900m to a fork, where you bear left (There is a sign "Finca La Maroma" here). 1.3km from the start of the track you reach the next fork and this time you bear right. There is a "Finca La Maroma" sign here, too. The other track is marked Pasa Arenas. You will pass three villas on your left, we are the first house on the right side below the level of the road.

We prefer Saturday to Saturday, especially in peak season, but can be flexible and will try to accommodate you if we can. Arrival times are after 4pm local time and departure by 11am local time, except by prior arrangement.
The property is thoroughly cleaned before arrival. Further cleaning can be arranged on request.
