El Pinar de Campoverde
A quaint rural Spanish village, which is home to both Spanish and mixed European inhabitants, is set in a natural wooded hillside area amongst orange, lemon groves and pine trees. The town centre of Campoverde which is a very short walk from the villa has several bars and restaurants and shops. There is a supermarket, CAM Bank and internet/mail room also located within a short walk. On a Sunday morning a small street market is open in the village square. On the other side of the village is a nature reserve “Rio Seco” where you can stroll along the dry river bed, and view the spectacular gorge. For those wanting a more energetic holiday, there is also a large sports arena with facilities for tennis, basketball, football and a large public swimming pool. Nearby is a newly opened 18 hole Lo Romero Golf Club.
20 Minutes drive from Murcia (San Javier) Airport, approximately 1 hours from Alicante.
An airport taxi collection can be arranged from either Murcia (San Javier) or Alicante (payable locally).
Shopping on arrival can also be arranged, at the cost of shopping plus 5 euros (payable locally).
