This villa is situated on the very quiet exclusive urbanisation of Can Isaac, only 10 minutes drive from Roses and walking distance to the local Catalan village of Palau Saverdera.
The villa is very spacious. There is off road parking on the private gated driveway for 3 cars.
Steps lead up to the main entrance of the villa which has a very light and airy open planned lounge, dining room and kitchen, all with superb far reaching sea and mountain views.
Glass doors open up from the lounge and dining area onto the very large terrace around the swimming pool which is 8m x 4m with a depth of 1.5m - 1.8m and an outside shower.
There is plenty of room on the terrace for outdoor dining and sunbathing, a wooden pergola to give some shade and also an outside fan on the terrace too.
The kitchen is equipped with hob, microwave oven and dishwasher. A door also leads out from the kitchen onto the pool and BBQ area.
There is a downstairs toilet on this level too.
Stairs lead up to the first floor where there is a family bathroom with double sinks, bath, shower attachment and another separate shower. Each side of the bathroom there is a bedroom, one has two single beds and the other a double bed. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and ceiling fans.
Steps lead up to the 2nd floor where the main bedroom is located with queen size double bed and air con. A small terrace leads off from this bedroom and it also has an en-suite with bath and shower attachment.
On the lower level of the villa, there is a separate apartment with two bedrooms, one with two single beds and the other with a double bed, both with ceiling fans. A bathroom with shower and a separate toilet. There is a small kitchen area and small lounge with table and 4 chairs and 2 sofas. From the lounge, glass doors open up onto a private terrace for the apartment with great views.
Palau Saverdera is a characterful traditional Catalan village with its own wine cooperative, a couple of small supermarkets, butchers, bakers, newsagents and a good selection of restaurants all within a short walk from the villa.
Nou Fusion is another very good restaurant located at the entrance to Can Isaac with a lovely large outdoor terrace with far reaching views.
For a more comprehensive selection of shops including larger supermarkets, produce markets and a huge choice of bars, restaurants and clubs are just 10 minutes drive away in Roses.
The nearest beach is less than 10 minutes drive away at Santa Margarita but there are many other large sandy beaches and smaller coves for you to discover.
There is a information folder in the villa which will have lots of details of places to go and things to do to make your holiday one to remember.
Historical towns and villages like Cadaques and Figueres, both linked with artist Salvador Dali, are scattered around. Also nearby are the protected nature reserves of the Aiguamolls wetlands and the Medes Islands, which can be seen from the villa. It is a great place for walking, cycling, bird watching and horse riding. Watersports include kite surfing and scuba diving, and you can rent boats and jet skis with or without a license. Aqua Brava water park and a go-kart track are under 10 minutes drive or in Empuriabrava there is the sky diving centre which has a new wind tunnel where you can enjoy a drink and some tapas while watching others partake.
Peralada golf course is about 15 minutes by car, several others are within 1 hour. In winter it is possible to ski within 2 hours driving with a choice of Spanish or French resorts. Villa Bellavista is located about 40 minutes from the French border.
The master bedroom has air con and all other rooms have ceiling fans.
